Richmond Lam is a portrait and documentary photographer who has lived in Hong Kong, London UK, and now Montréal.

Known for his authentic approach, he creates nuanced and empathetic photographs of the people and places around him. Richmond’s private and commercial portrait commissions include various notable figures in art, music, and commerce such as JW Anderson, Nicolas Party, Rufus Wainwright, and Charles Bronfman.

His past clients include the Canadian Centre for Architecture, LVMH Asia, Montreal Museum of  Fine Arts, StubHub, Kanuk, Goodee and more.
